In the United States, more than 50 million people are now living under heat alerts and several western states experience a record-breaking heatwave.
Las Vegas recorded its hottest day on record yesterday, while Valley in California is also braced from unprecedented heat.
And this extreme weather of a different kind of the state of Texas,
some areas there have been evacuated, as Hurricane Beryl brings with it high winds and heavy rain after passing through the Caribbean.

Listering hot temperatures in Death Valley where the record for the hottest place on Earth is expected to be broken during this unprecedented heat wave.
It's already delivered temperatures of more than 130 degrees and that's been drawing thrill seekers to the area.

But experts are warning the extremely hot temperatures, which are currently affecting around 36 million Americans, could lead to heat stress.
One visitor to the area died on Sunday from heat exposure, and this so-called heat dome remains over California.

Scientists say it's hard to link individual weather events to climate change, but say extreme events are becoming more common and more intense.

And CBS News correspondent Omar Villa Franca is in Galveston, Texas, where Hurricane Beryl has made landfall.
Well, right now we're getting winds between 80 and 100 kilometers an hour.
The peak wind we've had here in Galveston about 112,
but farther south where the storm barrel made, hurricane barrel made landfall, we had wind gusts over 140 kilometers an hour.
The wind gets all the headlines in these hurricanes, but the biggest killer is the storm surge and the rain.
We're talking 2 to 3 meters of rain and water from the ocean just coming in and flooding In the last decade,
more than half of the deaths in the US from hurricanes are coming from that storm surge.
That's something that officials here in the state of Texas and locally are warning people about.
People are heating that warning, they're staying inside, but we're getting a lot of wind right now.
