With-trust, each user, device and application instance must prove its identity and authorization before it can access each resource.
We start with the Silicon Route of Trust, which integrates security directly into each HPE service embedded ILO chip.
The HPE Silicon Route of Trust protects millions of lines of firmware code from malware and ransomware,
and secures more than four million HPE servers around the world.
Security Protocol Invades to management, also called SPDM, expands authentication to include the server's PCIE option card firmware, helping to ensure each component's integrity.
As each new server exits the assembly line,
it is assigned a unique cryptographic platform certificate,
which provides a digitally signed statement of what components are in the server,
SPDM enables authentication, attestation, and exchange to enable infrastructure security of components, including those from third parties as well as provide transit security assurance.
The platform certificate works in concert with a cryptographic initial device identifier certificate.
which provides secure, zero-touch onboarding and automatic provisioning and access management for the server's integrated applications.
Together, these technologies create an infrastructure security ecosystem that extends from our trusted supply chain to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Factories, servers, infrastructure, and business.
