And when I play that, I'm usually using my middle finger on pad one.

All So let's get back into the meat and potatoes.

The meat and potatoes or the backbeat is the thing that makes you move for the main production of the track, right?

That's your main backbeat.

We'll start with something simple.

All right, so nice thing with that, with nice thing with this pattern right here is, with the same tempo.

I can go ahead and change that and it's going to change the whole beat.
