How I Built My Tesla Model Y SUV Camper (Kitchen, Bed, Storage, DreamCase) - Zweisprachige Untertitel

Hello everyone, I'm so excited to let you guys know that the Kemper Confuions It's finally completed.
This is a long anticipated video, so without further ado, here is how I built my Model Y camper.
I began the process by making measurements of the truck and sketched out everything to get a better visualization.
I will link the list of components I used in the video description below.
I'm using mostly three-quarter plywood sheets.
But if I were to start from scratch again,
I think the half inch should be strong enough and could have saved me quite a lot of weight.
I don't have a table saw in my disposal and I wanted to keep the overall cost down.
Home Depot does provide cutting services so I asked the Depot guy to cut out the sizes that I need.
And then I picked up a router, a guiding router bit, pocket jig, and a lot of screws.
This build consists of two sessions, front and back.
The front unit being easily removable for passenger seating and the back unit being semi-permanent.
I removed the second soft trunk cover to maximize the storage.
I kept the back passenger seats up to make sure I have enough clearance and then use
this trusty contour gauge to mold out the shape.
I'll link the equipment list in the description below as well.
Here I'm clamping extra plywood on the top to serve as a guide for the router.
Not a perfect cut for my first stride, but it will get a job done.
Duplicate this one more time, and then use the same method for the center leg as well.
Here I'm drilling pocket holes on the 3 structural legs, and then connecting them to the top surface.
how the figment before moving forward.
I'm using these 22 inches sliders with luck to make sure the drawers are secured when driving.
Onto the first draw construction.
Because my initial calculation error,
I had to reduce the thickness of the top and bottom draw cases by using thinner plywood and then screwing them together in a normal
way.
the stove drawer.
While I'm using less screws since the weight will be supported by the additional sliders.
Here I'm adding a small piece of wood to give the drawer some extra strength.
I flipped the unit upside down for the assembly.
Here are the additional sliders I mentioned earlier.
And here I'm pre-dwelling the holes for the stove slide out.
At this point,
I found out that I completely forgot to account this unusable space, and now the collapsible sink that I got can fit no more.
Great.
Moving on to the front.
front unit while I try to figure out how to fix this sink issue.
The seats are slightly tilted when they are folded.
I used the iPhone measure app to help find out the slow angle.
Instead of continuing using clamps to secure the router guide,
I switched over to double side tape as it allows me to move the piece more freely.
I separated the bottom into 3 pieces to leave gaps for the straps to later pass through.
This is the cam buckle tie down strap that I'm using.
Then I'm securing the front unit down by using the existing baby seat mounts.
With the combination of these catch latches to lock it in place.
The second sub-trunk is accessible from here.
For the covers, I'm reusing these hinges from my frunk table build.
Now that the front unit is done, let's finish up the back.
Here, I'm cutting out the areas for the slider handles.
And adding a hole for the propane attachment.
I'm measuring out the size of the sink.
This is a better part of what a dispenser that I'm using.
It with a micro USB and a really short horse.
I need something much longer for the 5 gallon water jug that I keep at the front.
Here is the little colour I added for the hose to fit in.
Having running water is definitely gonna make camping experience so much more convenient.
I don't know how I live without one when I was in the model 3.
I got these covers for the water jug but they don't fit perfectly.
Fixing it with that ceiling tape was easy enough.
And then I tidied up the water hose by running.
routing it along the side of the back seat.
This is the spring hinge I'm using for the drawer.
After that I added a hidden paper tower holder to the bottom, making it look pretty neat.
I'm using diamond play the rubber mat on the stove and matches area to add some additional grip.
The internal surface in the trunk has a Valko light structure, making it really simple to stick things with Valko.
I put my 12mm inverter up for any charging needs, and secured the water dispenser on the side as well.
Added a small piece of velcro on the paper tower holder.
An angle adjustable LED light to the trunk for better illumination,
and since it comes with two of these magnetic mounts, I stacked the other one in the carbon to surface a reading light.
I got a roll off edge protector to cover up some sharp edges like this one.
I added a yellow line for maximum open draw distance for when the trunk is shut.
Oh, and remember the sink?
I added some more valgros and stacked it on the trunk as well.
To my surprise, it feels the negative space there perfectly.
For the final touches, I reached out to my buddy Diego to make everything look nice.
And lastly, covering up the remaining edges with edge protector.
Done, but wait.
Of course, this build can only be completed with the Dreamcase.
Thank you guys for watching,
