In Myanmar, pro-democracy forces and ethnic armed groups have been ramping up their offensive against the Hunta since October.

The resistance alliance was forged after the coup in 2021 when peaceful demonstrations were brutally put down by the military.
Members received training from the ethnic armed group fighting the military for decades.
