Inside my $435/month NYC Gym - Çift Dilli Altyazılar
So I recently signed up for what I think may be the most expensive gym in New York City,
which after taxes comes out to $435 per month.
But I'm currently in a state where I'm trying to be in the best headspace for launching my new tea business soon,
training to high-kill them in Bajaro, some marathons, and to just be in the best shape of my life.
Which resulted in me investing more into my health at this expensive yet incredible gym.
So today I wanted to show you guys inside my $435 per month.
New York City gym,
which also does not include the $300 initiation fee,
which I chart my best to get out of,
but couldn't,
as well as the $100 freeze fee,
which they charge you every single time you want to freeze your accounts, which in my opinion, is some complete bullshit.
So this trip is about a mile and a half away from my apartment,
but luckily I just go across 34th Street and I get to start my morning with these views of the Empire State Building.
Got the workout buddy.
So the gym itself is great, it's your typical equinox with a ton of machines that wrap around the building.
They have multiple bench presses, leg presses to see.
machines I honestly don't even know what they do with all of it being in this beautiful
Florida ceiling space that has views of the vessel and the Hudson River.
And this gym can get quite packed but most of the people are pretty cool.
One day I even got to work out next to LeBron James.
Then there's also this beautiful coworking area which if it wasn't super early, there would be a ton of people here.
Then if we head on upstairs, we have some of the workout classes.
And this $435, you do get access to every equinox in the world and get to go to as many workout classes as you wish.
From Pilates to yoga, to boxing, and plenty more.
There's also a lat pull with a cold pull.
lunch and a jacuzzi, which I do love doing rotations in and relaxing in after a good workout.
Then you go on through the cafe area, you'll find the crown jewel of this place, which is the pool.
This place does get packed with people during midday and is a full on pool party.
So one of the main reasons why I signed up for this gym isn't just because of the pool.
don't get me wrong is incredible and so great to lay out during the summer but this is the real
reason the cold plunges outside with this view
honestly no better way to start your day unless you're shirving this man hates
the cold punches yes I'm just here to watch you do this you're not going in oh it hurts good Wow.
I love it.
I just want to embrace the pain for a little bit longer.
It's honestly impossible to have a bad rest of your day when you wake up early, get a workout in and hit the cold plunge.
You don't have to go away, so you have to work out getting in here and it's a cooty.
Relax.

So I've recently come to realize how a majority of my life revolves around family, starting my new business, and fitness.
Since, besides going to that expensive equinox, I am also training to run two more marathons before the years over, and also in less than two weeks, I will be climbing
the tallest building in all of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro.
And I guess I didn't really think about it before I signed up,
but they gave me a super long list of all of the items and clothing and gear that I'm going to need to do this trek,
which I guess does make total sense since it is going to be nine days of hiking.
and sleeping in a tent, and something that is mission critical with climbing this mountain is having marino wool as my base layer.
And as you guys may recall,
I'm about marino is one of my partners, so I am definitely gonna make sure you have my I'm about marino wool undies.
Also got a top and then the super comfy yet warm bottoms.

So recently I have been waking up at 5.30 in the morning and every single morning I wake
up and there's that voice in the back.
head telling me to cancel my plans and just go back to sleep and also my bed is
just so comfy and to be honest with you guys I used to listen to that voice
pretty consistently and go back to sleep and then when I would wake up I would
instantly regret that I didn't get out of bed I just felt like I left
myself down
But lately I have been feeling more disciplined than ever and have just been loving waking up that early and getting straight into a workout.
Again, I don't know if I actually love it or if I've just learned to love the pain.
As guys know,
I'm hiking in just a couple weeks,
so some new gear from my homies at Solgard,

I've heard it's not the best construction though.
So Adrienne, I we've been friends for about like six years now and I've seen Soulguard just explode over these past couple of years.
So I just wanted to ask you as someone who's gone to see your company go to doing 10 of millions of dollars a year,
what advice could you give someone like myself trying to start a new business and trying to hit this million dollar goal?
Start like, find the thing that works and clicks and then just keep doing that.
You're gonna have to throw spaghetti at the wall, you'll try 10 things, one of them will have more traction and just keep doing that.
The purchase survey is things like that, finding out what people are, why they're actually coming to buy, and then just double down on that.
So do you think even at first to start like having a bit of a variety and then seeing
what works and double down on it,
so don't like go all in to start on just one thing and if that fails then I'm kind of starting from scratch so you think it would be best
to dabble with a bunch of different
products because your opinion doesn't matter what you think is going to be right isn't what's going to resonate with the market.
So one of my favorite things about SoulGuard is that the products are, let me have Adrian explain, so the products are from recycled plastic.

I go with the bacon and cheese, and truly just never disappoints.
You know, after you go to the gym, you are so motivated to eat healthy?
Well, I am usually like that, but today,
I figured we'd have a cheat day,
eat a delicious Tomkins Square bagel,

who haven't heard of Tomkins before, because if you are here in New York, it is a must try.

So these are hopefully the final samples for the first three products of the new tea company.
Wow, they even packaged it nice.
You know, when I started my clothing company in college, it was always this exciting Christmas-like feeling.
Every single time I would get a sample in, and then for about seven years, And now it's starting this new tea business.
It feels good to get those same feelings back.
No better feeling than bringing an idea to life.
Especially when a dream tastes pretty damn good.
So the first three products I am launching with, the first one is a morning time tea.
Then we have a sleepy time tea and then the one I'm most excited about is the afternoon high energy coffee replacement tea Wow,
I can already smell it and it smells so good.
Oh Man so many beautiful colors in there Wow Holy shit, guys.
I just got the chills.
I don't know if it's from bringing my idea to life,
or just because it smells so good, or a of both, but, man, we are getting there, and this company is coming in today.
let's make some tea a little nervous right now because I have just been spending so much time
and energy devoting to finalizing these initial formulas also initial capital.
I have spent hundreds of dollars on tea samples even in here that just goes back for like 10 more packs of tea.
So really just hoping this is the winner or at least just some small tweaks.

My initial reactions, really good, I would personally buy this.
It has a lot of great health benefits in these ingredients and herbs and spices.
I feel like it still needs a couple tweaks,
so I'm gonna call back to the teammasters, add the supplier, and finalize this high caffeinated tea.

I have been doing some training since it's going to be hiking seven days up the mountain and then another two to go down.
And what's been so tough is that here in New York City, we don't have any mountains.
But what we do have...
is skyscrapers.
So Mount Kilimanjaro is nearly 20,000 feet in height which is equivalent to roughly 2,500 flights of stairs and also going to take nine
days to complete.
So let this training begin.

has a lot to do with working out, gyms, hiking mountains, and discipline.
There one more thing I want to talk about.
First, let me put a shirt on.
So as of last week, I have officially decided that I am not going to drink alcohol until at least the end of the year.
I typically only have like a couple drinks a month anyway,
But I feel like to fully discipline myself and have it not even be an option anymore is something that is just really necessary in my
life Right now.
I'll reassess next year,
but for at least these next couple months I feel like I just need to fully focus and not have any of these
Distractions from alcohol the best analogy I could put it as is if I was a boss
And I worked so hard to get to this championship fight and as I got there finally after all these years of hard work
I let the opponent take some free shots at me
That's exactly how I feel about alcohol right now in my life
I feel like I'm in this championship phase where I need all of my attention all of my energy
focus on things that will progress me and not stuff that will set me back.
You I do enjoy a great opera or a spritz or a spress martini, but for right now, I putting alcohol on pause.
And I'm saying this on this YouTube channel for accountability.
And tonight's we are going to put that to the ultimate test since I am going to an H.G.R.
concert.
at MSG a suite that has free alcohol,
as well as going to the after party, Ani Yat, sailing around Manhattan with a JR for their after party.

So after the concert, we headed to the after party on my friend's day.
dad's boat.
And this wasn't just any boat.
This was a proper mega yacht with its own helicopter.
The party was great, and I was a man of my word.

Well, that was definitely the largest boat I've ever been on outside of a cruise ship.
And right now I have about a 20-minute city by a great home,
so I'm going to be a great opportunity to share a classic New York City story of how I ended up on that boat tonight.
So the story begins seven years ago, where we have a young breast who spots a cute girl across the bar.
to this girl, I asked her out, and then I'm talking to her and spent all of her friends friends.
Fast forward, about a year or so, nothing really progressed romantically, but those group of girls ended up becoming some of my closest friends.
And one of those girls I befriended was a named Sky.
She's actually been in a couple of my videos in the past.
and is someone I am so grateful to call a close friend and I had no idea even after being
this guy's friend for a couple months that her dad was one of the most successful and powerful CEOs on Wall Street.
So that is exactly who's built we were on tonight and even her average is just the nicest guy in someone I look up to.
as a role model so let this be a lesson did you see a cute girl at a bar go talk
to her you never know if you're gonna end up on an active party on their boat I love this city
